We touch down at Bali first, because we flew with budget airline to Denpasar from Jakarta.
When we arrived Bali, it was sunset, and we rushed to chase our first Sunset in Bali.
Then we got a minor traffic jammed in the Kuta lane and we decided to walk instead to get the sunset.
On the way there, Michelle had an encounter with one of the teacher assistance from the School she work for.
We arrived in Kuta Beach quite late, it was already dark. But we had the chance to see some golden sky even though it was looks like a sketch... but we quite content with it :)
Then we decide to start going around and go to Padang Bai directly.
We stop over to had some dinner at Pizza Hut.
It was quite surprising, this Pizza Hut location dont seem to be one of those restaurant that most tourist in Bali going to.
We feels like everyone was staring at us, like they were thinking *what the hack is a local girl and a bule girl doing here* hahaha...
After we had our tummy filled with some Pizza and garlic bread, we were back on the road to go to Padang Bai.
We arrived there quite early, it was still around 11 pm. we are expecting a boat from Padang Bai to Lembar at least leaving around 2 am. But we end up to go with the 1 am ferry.
We arrived in Lembar around 4.30 am.
I had the chance to have a morning pray at one of the musholla there.
Some local guy with uniform came to us and had a chat with us. Give us some direction and advice on how to get to our destination at Gili Meno.
and some tips on the pricing and how to avoid calo.
The guy told us to wait at least until 8am, because normally there should be some public transportation from Lembar to get us to Mataram or somewhere near the Bangsal port (our destination to get to Gili).
But the public angkot is showed nowhere. so there is one public angkot decided to take us to Bangsal directly with negotiable price.
so we agree with the price, and we went directly from Lembar to Bangsal port.
We were quite surprise with the Bangsal Port. this port is quite crowded, but the facilities they were give was so poor.
the waiting area was looks like an old house with so many rotten wood everywhere. It feels like that house is going to fell down at anytime.
Okey I am going to finish it later on... I gotta work first now :p
